The Sewing Class - FEB/MAR EVENING

Whether you are an absolute beginner wanting to learn the essentials, or a seasoned sewer just needing help or encouragement to finish your projects, why not come along and join in these fantastic sewing evenings! They run for 2 hours every Thursday from 7pm to 9pm.  Our tutor will be present to help you along the way, and meeting up with others is a great way to learn from each other and get inspiration.  If at the end of this course you are loving your Thursday evening sewing get together then don’t worry, these sessions will run regularly so rejoining is always an option! Please bring along your project, or an idea, and fabric if you have a stash. Tote bags, envelope cushions, aprons or bunting are great projects for beginners. Our past attendees have been learning dressmaking, alterations, bag making and general sewing projects.

This is a mixed ability class and places are limited to 8 people.

Payment is for a full set of 5 x 2 hour classes, there are no refunds for missed classes within a session.

Please bring along your own sewing machine if you have one (but we have plenty if needed!), all basic equipment will be available for your use such as scissors, rotary cutters, cutting boards, iron etc.

There will be light refreshments available for a break and a chat! Feel free to bring along your own cup.

Fabrics are not included but can be purchased on the course evenings at 10% discount.
